In a city filled with extraordinary architecture, ME Dubai by Meliá still manages to look different.
The hotel is housed inside The Opus, one of Dubai’s most recognizable contemporary buildings and a striking example of Zaha Hadid’s fluid architectural style.

Straight lines disappear into sweeping curves. The glass bends around the opening, creating an organic shape that feels almost as though the centre of the building has melted away.
During the day, its mirrored surfaces reflect Dubai’s sky and surrounding towers. After dark, integrated lighting transforms the curved centre into a glowing feature within the city.
The same architectural language continues inside ME Dubai.
Instead of leaving Zaha Hadid’s vision at the entrance, the hotel carries its curved forms into the lobby, rooms and furniture. Walls flow into ceilings, furniture follows sculptural shapes and traditional straight hotel corridors give way to softer lines.
This makes ME Dubai unusual even among designer hotels.
The architecture is not simply a shell surrounding the hotel. The exterior and interior were conceived as parts of the same design, allowing Hadid’s distinctive visual language to continue from the Dubai skyline all the way into the guest rooms.
