Nuanu Suites & Accommodations: Domes That Grew From the Ground

The suites here are domes. Round, small, nestled into the green. They don’t look like hotel rooms. They look like they grew here.

Where a City Lets Nature Lead

Nuanu isn’t a hotel with a garden. It’s a 44-hectare creative city in Tabanan, west Bali. Architecture, art, and nature built to coexist from
the start. The Suites sit at the centre of it.

70% of the land stays untouched. The buildings don’t clear the green. They settle into it.

Everything you experience here — the air, the sounds at night, the way morning arrives — comes from that decision.

Built With the Forest, Not Against It

The dome structures sit low in the landscape. Rounded, compact, tucked between trees and tropical growth. From the outside they feel like something organic — not placed on the land but part of it.

The shapes are soft. Not the heavy stone of the surrounding Nuanu compound, but lighter, more contained. Each dome stands on its own, separated by greenery. There’s a quiet between them.

After dark, the wider compound changes. Sound and light move across the stone structures around it. The domes stay still inside it all.

The Stillness Inside

Inside, the rooms are precise. Clean lines, deliberate proportions. Not minimal for the sake of it — just considered.

Garden and pool views fill the windows. Greenery is part of the outlook from almost every angle. The details are there — bathtub, private bathroom, air conditioning — but the form of the dome is the first thing you feel when you walk in.

What most guests notice is the quiet. The way the curved walls hold it in.

Forest First. Ocean Close.

The view here isn’t dramatic. It’s deep.

Greenery wraps each dome on all sides. Nyanyi Beach is a three-minute walk. Tanah Lot Temple sits just beyond. The horizon is there — forest in front of it.

A Stay for People Who Notice Buildings

This is for travelers who choose a hotel because of how it’s built.

The domes at Nuanu are unusual without trying to be. Compact, rooted, designed to disappear into the green. The architecture is the stay — and the wider creative city around them gives the place a life most forest retreats don’t have.

The Oberoi Marrakech: Moroccan Mosaic, Maximum Glamour

The Oberoi Marrakech feels like a modern palace that speaks fluent Morocco. At its heart: a courtyard that holds the whole stay together—open to the sky, framed by arches, and finished with the kind of mosaic work that catches light from every angle. This is a luxury hotel, yes. But
